How to Set-Up MetaMask
Step 1: Download MetaMask
i. Select “Download” and then select “Install MetaMask for Chrome”
ii. This will bring you to the Chrome Web Store where you can add the MetaMask Chrome extension
iii. You have now successfully downloaded MetaMask, time to set it up!
Step 2: Set Up MetaMask Account
i. Select “Create a Wallet” on the right to set up a new MetaMask account
ii. Select “I Agree” on the first pop-up
iii. Now MetaMask will ask you to set up password, choose something secure!
iv. This will bring you to a video showing you how to secure your MetaMask wallet, we highly suggest you watch the video to understand the importance of securing your MetaMask wallet.
Step 3: Write Down your Secret Backup Phrase
i. Your Secret Backup Phrase allows you to access your MetaMask wallet from a new computer. Without this phrase you will not be able to access your account from a different computer.
ii. Make sure this is kept in a secure location (i.e. on paper or on 1Password)
iii. Now your MetaMask wallet has been set up!
Step 4: Add Ethereum Tokens!
i. For optimal use on SportX.bet you should add Dai, USDC, and SX to your MetaMask wallet.
ii. To do so, select “Add Token” on your MetaMask and search the token you would like to add
iii. For Custom tokens (i.e. SX Tokens) select “Custom Token” and paste in the Token Contract Address into the first column
