Parlays are live on SX!
Who says betting exchanges can’t have parlays? SX Bet has launched the world’s first peer-to-peer parlay betting system
We’re excited to announce that parlay betting is now live on SX Bet!
Parlay bets are an extremely popular bet type amongst casual bettors, and SX goes a step further by becoming the first platform to allow users to offer their own parlays. Don’t bet against the house when you can be the house on SX.
A Parlay bet is a bet placed on multiple outcomes to occur. For a Parlay bet to win, all outcomes within the Parlay bet must win. The odds for each pick are typically multiplied by one another to determine the odds for the parlay bet.
Simply add the bets to your betslip and the interface will automatically create a parlay bet slip for you. You can choose to add or remove selections from the multiple by using the toggle on each selection:
Once you click “Request Parlay”, SX will create a private virtual order book for this parlay bet just for you. Programmatic market-makers listening through the API will then have 1 second to offer you liquidity on the bet:
Users requesting the parlay then have 60 seconds to place their bet before the order book is closed. Users can create parlays with up to 10 legs. SX is unique in that you can actually bet on a Parlay bet to Win (i.e. all selections must win) or bet on a Parlay bet to Lose (i.e. one of the selections must lose).
There are some restrictions on v1 of the launch: you cannot place parlay bets on markets that are currently live and same-game parlays are not yet available. These restrictions will be lifted over time. Parlay bets are also void if any of the underlying selections are voided; this is great if your parlay is busted though something to watch out for if your parlay otherwise hits.
